Echoes of an Ancestral Ocean
Fossilized Coral - Cretaceous Period (145-66 Million Years).
Before continents found their present shapes, vast coral seas once flourished where
oceans breathed with ancient life.
This fossilized coral is a quiet remnant of that distant world. What began as a living
reef organism in prehistoric waters slowly transformed through mineralization over
tens of millions of years, preserving within stone the delicate architecture of its original form.
The subtle cellular patterns visible across the surface reveal the ancient coral polyps
that once formed its structure - traces so precise that the rhythm of the prehistoric
ocean still seems quietly present within the stone.
Measuring approximately 21 cm in height and 8 cm in width, the specimen stands
today not as a decoration, but as a geological witness. Its tones of grey, ivory, and
mineral brown carry the calm weight of time, shaped by pressure, sediment, and the
silent patience of the Earth itself.
Within the collection, this fossil represents origin - a reminder that long before
civilizations, mythologies, and symbols, the planet was already writing its history in
stone.
